Some people might think, weekends is just like any other day: Wake up. Get chores done. Go to bed. Get Ready go for Monday and work life. For others, weekends mean sleeping in, pancakes, an English breakfast and hot tea, maybe do laundry.
Call that friend you haven’t talk to in a while, make a nice dinner with someone special, enjoy the nights before returning to work the next two days. The Green Mug believe finding a balance somewhere between those two days is a crucial part of life. We suggest making a concerted effort.
To Do These Five Things.
1. When you wake up, while you’re still in bed, ask yourself how you feel.
This is something a lot of people struggle with. We are used to shaking our-self out of bed as soon as their alarm sounds. now take a moment to ask yourself how you feel. Not how you think you feel.
How does your body feel?
Are you hungry? Tired? Do you need another hour of sleep?
Is something stressing you out?
Do you feel energised? Why or why not?
Ask yourself this question and then sit with it for a hot moment. When you ask your body how it feels, it will tell you what it needs. it’s in your best interest to take care of yourself sooner rather than later, prevention is safer than fighting illnesses.
2. Before you check your phone.
We all infamously have a bad habit for checking our phones as impulsively we check the fridge when we’re hungry and even when we’re not hungry, we’re just bored and stressed out preparing for the week to come. That’s the worst way to start your weekend.
Before you go scrolling through your messages and stumbling across a to-do list that immediately puts you into a mood, do something for yourself. Make a cup of organic tea and pick up a book or blanket.
Read the newspaper. Watch TV, Go for a run. Write. Paint. Play the piano. Anything that is just for you and only you. It is refreshing to the soul to just relax and find your inner self.
3. Make a Green Tea or Smoothie Matcha.
We are all about drinking healthy. How are we supposed to perform at the top of our game if you’re not feeling well?
Here’s what you can do:
Grab a kettle, and boil hot water, get one of our healthy 100% Organic Fresh Teas and put your feet up.
if you’re feeling ambitious, mix it with almond milk or hemp milk. You’ll feel so much clearer than if you had just eaten a full English breakfast breakfast — or worse, not taking care of yourself at all.
4. Go outside.
Early in the morning, going outside is the fastest way to get in tune and vitamin D for the day. ask
What kind of day is it?
What is this day asking for from you? Is it a grind-modem day? Or is it a curl-up day?
Going outside gets you out of the “familiar” energy of your living space and in touch with the day itself. once you know what kind of day it is, you need to ask yourself how you can interact with the day to get done what you still need to get completed.
Life itself is a dance, and the more aware you are, the more effectively you’ll be able to handle life. Find the right balance for you.
5. Clean and get clean.
Whatever is in your life, you need to clean it and prevents stress and negative meaning of life. Kitchen? Clean it. Bedroom? Clean, your body and mind, Clean it. It’s a never-ending cycle. There is something to be said for feeling like everything is where it needs to be and drinking 100% Organic Tea does have an impact on your life and spirit.
